Posted by Anonymous on Friday, November 14, 2003 11:31 AM
Hi all,

That's just what I need to know,

What shop(s) in Atlanta area would you recommend for selection, product knowledge, service?

Thanks,

Hey Arthur and welcome to the forum. I can tell you first hand the best place in Atlanta is AAA Hobby in Marietta. They're on Roswell Rd east of the Big Chicken. I shop there all the time, almost every day at lunch! Blush [:I]
They're number is 770-973-5666. Good selection, good folks and modelers themselves.

Why oh why doesn't this surprise me.

Does the hobby shop move if the chicken moves?
Or is the chicken permanently glued in one location?
What if the chicken crosses the road?

It depends on who came first, the Chicken or the Egg...

Pisco, yeah they moved a few years ago but they're still going strong.

Robert...SMACK...now go OUT of your room and don't come back till you can play nice! Wink [;)] Big Smile [:D]

It's a "Mayretta" thang, all directions are given with the Big Chicken as reference.

AAA is the best place for detail sets, but I think Hobbytwon USA in Kennesaw is the bset hobby shop. They have a much better selection to choose from.

And that would make you 7,058 miles (give or take) from the Big Chicken Brian. Wink [;)]Wink [;)]
