Go to your local auto supply store,  Pep Boys,  O'Reilly's, Auto Zone, etc.   Go to the body repair department and pick up a tube of Bondo Spot Glazing Putty.   It is the same stuff as sold to modelers but it doesn't have the model company's logo.   The lack of the logo will save you several bucks.  Like Squadron green or white,  Bondo (red) Glazing Putty is a solvent based material which hardens by evaporation.

I use squadron white you should be able to get it at your LHS or get it from squadron.com

ive also seen people use 3Mspot putty or acrlic putty you can get it at an auto supply store or check your local parts house.
