Orville or Wilbur?

Actually, it wasn't Orville or Wilber that rode that infamous day, It was their neighbor, Hidagard Warrenslocker, who had ranted and complained so much about the noice these two were causing while building the plane, that neither was really sure if they had forgotten something or not. So they strapped the old bitty in and shoved off. Much to their surprise, the old crate really flew and so did Hidagard. The flight wasn't recorded as the first flight because the old bitty had a heart attack during the flight and died. Naturally, the boys didn't want that getting around, so they buried good old Hildie right there at Kitty Hawk and set up for another flight which was a success. Now you know the real story

I always thought a monkey took the first flight. Orville wanted a windshield installed and Wilbur said it wasn't needed. They put a monkey in to test the wind blast. After the flight, the monkey went AWOL and wasn't seen untill he started showing up on talk shows. He filed suit claiming pain and suffering from the excessive speed wind blast and retired in Little Rock, working for the Clinton team.

Everyone knows that the first flight had that big General Electric turbofan on the top wing but they covered it up when Hidagard died and then, years later, Yeager did his thing and the rest is supposedly history.
