Depends on whether you feel like doing a lot of painting or not, and how you feel about accuracy.
For a simple build with decent detaiI recomend the Testors pre-painted screw-together kits such as at Hobby lobby. Only the B-29 seems the closest to being accurate, since the B-17 should be an "F", not a "G" model, and the Doolittle B-25 is the wrong varient as well, but they do display well in a living area and if a cat knocks them down they are easy to snap back together.
If you are looking for "simple-but-accurate" as a warship, the submarine is generally the simplest of builds in either catagory, as the color scheme tends to be easy as well as the only appreciable detail being above the deck for WWII types and the screw/rudder/diving planes for later varients.
