I've heard rumors to the fact. No flyers...no website that I have seen. Guess it is going to be a stealth contest...no one will ever know when and where it was until we hear how poorly attended it was. Promoting an event is even more crucial in these lean economic times otherwise you won't get the attendence needed to offset the expense of producing it.

Unfortunately if they do have one...Sprue Brothers will not be there. Sad [:(] One of the main draws to the event for some.

Was at Butch O'Hare today for about four hours.  Didn't find many sellers with 'just released' stuff.  More older stuff.  CRM was there, that was good.  I thought there was a good crowd of shoppers.  The model contest looked better than past years.  The quality of all the models was outstanding.  I definitely need to upgrade my skills.  It looked like there were more tank models and many more figure models.  The giant Godzilla was a work of art.  There was a 1/350(?) maybe, model of the aircraft carrier Gambier Bay(?) and wow, was that awesome sight.  The detail was staggering.   I hope some one took pictures of it and posts them.  Sorry, I forgot my camera.  In all I thought it was a decent show.  I found some nuggets and missed a few, too.  I can't believe I let that Accurate Miniatures F3F-2 for $15 get away.
