I used to abhor internet shops, but now I do most of my main shopping there. Their stock is better as well as lower prices. What's the negative?

I guess I'm pretty lucky, ther's one in the next town about 15 minutes away, and the next one is in the city beyond that (another 20 minutes) still haven't gotten to the close one though.

Extreme Sport and Hobbies on Hwy 80 in Pooler. He hasn't been open long and I'm trying to help him with his model collection. Give em a try. They are a great bunch of people and will be eager to help.

Sad to see them go, that's for sure.
So, now there's nothing at all in Savannah? Hard to believe!

When I was stationed at Ft Stewart I used to go to one in Savanna. I think it was called Skate & Hobby. For the life of me I can't remember what street it was on. I could be wrong but I would go down Ogelthorpe hwy (I think that's the name) down past the mall and make a right ( I think there was a Rent-a-Center on the corner ) and it was only 1 or 2 lights down on the right. This was about 10 yrs ago and in my old age (36) my memory isn't so good. At one time they were going to close and they had a big sale, but they didn't.
Trevor Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

Hi, Ga. Modler!
I'm from Brunswick, and Savannah and Jacksonville were my saviors for hobby shops.
Was the shop you're talking about on Waters Avenue? I believe that's the one I frequented. That's where I first ran across Tamiya...I bought the old (well, not so old back then!) Panther A. That was in the old location.

Is that the shop you're talking about? I don't recall the name.
