I talked to Chris today at Butch O'Hare.  Sounds like he is doing fine.  Just hope he can keep the lights on with the economy in the crapper.

I was at CRM last week and dropped about a hundred bucks. Way too easy.  Chris isn't there much, he works outside the shop some, and the place is only open something like 11 AM to 5 or so, if I remember the sign on the door.   Hasegawa is now a special order there since the ginormous price increases.   New items are up front if you're searching.  I would have liked a little more selection on Eduard and Classic Airframes a/c.  The aftermarket detail selection is second to none.  Still, CRM is a good place to go.

CRM is a modellers dream, with a metric ton of stuff old and new.  CRMhobbies.com I think

Up in St. Charles, Mark Twain Hobbies is also a very nice, neat store with something for everyone (though little in the way of aftermarket).

Good luck

I will be in town for a day and was wondering what shops should I hit?
