My modeling area is a 14x8 room that includes the furnace water heater and oil tank.  I have my bench 2  6 foot by 18 inch display cases and enough fishing equipment to start a small tackle shop.  Oh and I have about 100 kits in the stash there too.  So my area is a little small.

Have found out where my new digs will be.  Plan to stop over tomorrow morning to check available space.

Got a bunch of boxes and some styrofoam peanuts and packed everything up today.  There I am, boxes stacked up to my chin, trying to squeeze through the turnstile gate at work,  And today Mother Nature decide to drop several inches of snow.  Fortunately, I didn't fall.

The wife also said she wants the basement cleaned out (and mentioned that we could fix it up nice with a TV so I could move my workbench out of the living room).  Of course, "fix it up nice" usually requires copious amounts of money.

Might be losing my display space

My usual MO is when I've finished a model, I take it into work.  I have my own "cube" and I can put my models on top of the shelves I have on the walls.  So far, catastrophic gravity surges overnight have kept enough space open for new builds.

But, I just found out that with the latest reorganization, my group will be moving to new office space.  I was thinking that I only had to worry about transporting my collection, however the boss says that we'll most likely be put into "team rooms".  Which means very little in the way of personal space.

Now to figure out what to do... "Honey, they followed me home from the office, can we keep them?"
