that used to be my case , too, but this gets ONE thing done for the year, and gets you started right. heck, it could be one of those spiffy 1/144 SWEET brand planes. You can desprue and knock one of those out in about an hour...great kits!

Welcome to 2009!

each year I have a custom of making one OOB , unpainted Super Deform (SD) Gundam kit The only thing I use is a four way nail buffer, sprue clippers and knife, and only a very limited amount of glue.  that way I focus on the joy of completing a very well engineered, parts limited and fun to bulid kit. A great way to start the year and the boys ( I guess they are boys!) look good around my monitor :-)

By the way for those that want to know it was a SD RX 178 Gundam Mk II. Nice enough little kit, only about forty or so parts.

Happy new building year!
