Many of the older kits had the sides separate from the floorplan, it all depended on the skill level of the kit. 1 & 2 typically had the tub, and 3 had the separate sides. i prefer the separate sides as you can easily paint and detail them before final assembly.

    Hello everyone my question is back when I was doing models in the 70's the car interior was called a tub.   When did they change the assembly to include putting in the sides of the interior. And do you think it was a good change.
