Yeah, when I can get more out of the economy I'll help them out more! LOL!! Besides, they all came from their shop! This year could be a banner year for me. Let's hope so!

Thanks Tigerman! Yeah, I masked off the tail to paint the tail of the Sabre Dog. They didn't provide a decal. Now that you've called on me for inspiration, I guess I'd better start posting more of my finished work!

Greatest modeler, my question was how many did you build? Nice collection you bought though. I'd cut way back myself only buying about 15 or so in 2008. So far, I've built 16 since the beginning of the year.

Hey Duke, that Sabre is really cool. Did you mask that tail off or is it a decal. Either way, very nice buildup. Good to see you at the bench again. Hopefully I can use your output as an inspiration to get something finished.

Thanks Jagdpanther! Yeah, I've been doing Braille Scale forever. It's all I build and I've completed over 650 Braille scale armor kits. If you want to see all of them in group photos, I have them all on my Webshots page. Just look up "Duke_Maddog". I have them grouped by country.

Thanks again for the compliment and I apologize for the slow reply. Big storms came through and took away my internet access.

Well, the rain won't last forever. That's cool. At leats you are bringing somehting. I'm up to 18 models that I'm bringing now.

Jagdpanther, I'm not sure why I'm so fast; maybe it's because I take whatever spare time I have to do something, even if it is just a small thing. I think they are neat, and I know of several people who've really admired my work.

Here are some examples of some of the models I've finished so far this year:

1/72 scale MPC, ex-Airfix F-86D Sabre Dog:

1/72 scale Airfix D.H. 2:

1/72 scale Italeri ABM 42 with anti-tank gun:

1/72 scale Academy M1126 Stryker:

I hope you think they are neat as well JP.

Well he does work in braille scale... smaller kits... and they are quite neat to see in person. I have seen many at our chapter meetings... But I swear he must run an assembly line in his non working hours to have so mnay done in a year JP....

Duke, my big stumbling block will be the weather this weekend, weather or not there will be too much humidity to airbrush. My new working hours do not allow me to do stuff before work when it is sunny like I could before.

Sweet! Thanks Kelly! I was very far under my usual production.  Normally I finish between 65 and 70 models a year, but last year I only finished 45.

Yes I will be there for the February meeting. We missed you last month. I have three planes and one tank that I am working on fairly thoroughly, plus all my usual side old deferred builds that I nibble at slowly. I intend to have two for this months meeting... possibly a third if the weather gods concur.

Excellent! I do hope you can bring three. I was sick with the flu last month which really frustrated me. I wanted to go so bad! Oh well. I'll be starting this year off with a bang!!

I'm still around. I've been busy on the bench alot though. Since Jan 1st I've completed about 14 models. I guess I should start posting them here again too.

Will I see you at February's meeting? I have about 16 models I'm bringing in.

Didn't complete a thing.  Only bought 5 or 6.

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

The one where they ask "How many models did you buy in 2008?"

I got a new Question: How many models did you BUILD in 2008?

My count is 45 models built in 2008. If anyone wants I'll post all the pics. Just ask!
