You're probably better off visiting their websites and searching their online catalogs yourself. Emailing retailers isn't necessarily going to yield anything. I know first hand that most don't have, read or respond to emails if they get them. Especially brick and mortar stores.

When we need to contact retailers, we find it better to use the phone if we need to convey or ask important questions. Sometimes that too is an exercise in futility.

Yeah, I'm already planning on visiting two big stores in the vicinity, hoping on the tiny chance that their aftermarket section happens to have at least one of the kits. Also going to draft an email to pretty much any shop out there. :P

Time to let your fingers do the walking across your keyboard and mouse to visit as many Internet retailers as you can in hopes of finding what you seek. You might find them on eBay but be prepared to pay the price to get them...since these items are no longer in production and there appears no hope of them returning, they're going to fetch some very inflated prices. Your only hope is to either pick them up from a kinds sole for a fair price or a retailer who really doesn't know what they are sitting on.

Other companies will no doubt begin to pickup on the void, especially with the growing popularity of the subject as new kits are being released.

Best of luck in your search.

Every day, I understand more and more, while people stack up on kits. Now that I am looking into building Trumpeter's F-105G, I find out that the four most important correction kits are no longer available, because both Cutting Edge Modelworks AND RC Resins went out of business last year. And of course I can't find any leftover stock. Of course, cockpits and wheel wells are available from three or even four manufacturers. But wheels, nose cones, tail fin.....

Great, just great.

Does anybody here know, wether some other company produced something like this for the F-105G kits? And, so that I know what to look for on eBay: Was there ever a release from RC Resins for the wheels or nose cone? Or was this canceled?
