Sadly, the nearest Hobby Lobby is 80 miles from me. Disapprove [V]Disapprove [V]Sad [:(]Sad [:(]

How did you all find out that the sale was changed to 50% off? Did they just change the in-store signage? They certainly didn't advertise it that way! If they had, I'd have made the drive!! Evil [}:)]Evil [}:)]

I'm sure that changing the sale gave their customers a much better deal, and I'm happy to those of you who could take advantage of it. But I'm still upset that they didn't advertise it properly from the start!!Angry [:(!]Eight Ball [8]

heres the foxbat briefing,chris
The Fox bat looked good when I glanced at the parts and decals. 2 lt gray spues,46 pieces. One clear piece. Cockpit is crude and chunky. Nose piece and fuselage halves don't line up. It comes with several nationality choices though, USSR, Iraq, Libya, Algeria. (the red star and cresent are seperate decals from their green and white background. Don't know why this is a skill 1. Probably do the USSR since I have Fishbed and Foxhound kits in the same scale that I all want to do of the same air force. The cockpit will have to go.

The enola gay has a white fuselage and silver gray wings! I'm gonna do it in Bare metal foil so no matter.

I picked up the Academy F15 1/32....but set it back down as well as 2 of the Academy 1/144 F15's dont ask me why....LOL I just decided not to purchase them on the way to check out.
Saw the HobbyCraft Foxbat....wish I would have got that...Please tell me how it is and builds up when you get to it. Ive never built a HobbyCraft kit but the prices seem really appealing to my wallet

Mine was pretty well picked over....I made a last minute mad dash there when I was feeling a lil better and before they closed. I picked up 3 Tamiya M41 Walker Bulldogs, a 1/72 Tam Super Spit Mk.VB/Vb Trop....A few misc other kits nothing really exciting though. I did luck out and manage to fanagle a raincheck for 2 things they didnt have I was hoping to pick up....Even though the fine print on sales like that says...."on in stock inventory only"! Best thing is it has no qty limit and no expiration date.....and its for the 50% off! Big Smile [:D]

I went to the one across the screet from me Saturday and was pretty impressed. They never carried a huge selection of planes, but even after being picked through all week, they still had some good stuff. They were all out of the bigger Tamiya stuff, but had some small scale left. (I got a 1/72 Spit 5) What I really liked was that they'd started carrying some Academy and Accurate Minatures for once. They used to be 90% revell and 10% Tamiya and that was it. I like the direction this is heading.

I was in mine about a month ago and they had that new Academy 1/32 Hornet kit that everyone has for $100. Peculiarly, at this store, it was priced $26.99. As hard as I tried, I just couldn't do it. I ended up taking it to the manager and told him that he was getting ripped off. Happy ending though; they clearanced a bunch of kits that day and I still got a 1/48 FW-190, and one of those Amtech Junkers kits for only $2 each. I love Hobby Lobby!

Wow your a bigger man than me! I would have bought 4 of them bad boys Ebayed 3 of em....after I paid for them and had my reciept I would have then pointed it out......Im just being honest! I've had a few things in my shop go out the door with the wrong price on them before it sucks....not nearly as much for a chain store though!
