How many do you have?

I've got three on the workbench:

  Academy Merkava III, Revell Marder 1A3 & the Skif MTLB.

I've also got 12 kits in the closet, each waiting their turn on the bench!  The latest being the AFV Club TACP Stryker & Trumpeter PT-76B.

I normally do one at a time though.  I'm getting back to the MTLB after becoming frustrated with the poor instructions that came in the kit. 

On the bench right now:

1/32 Hasegawa Bf-109 E-3 to done up in Swiss markings

1/32 Hasegawa Bf-109 E-7 to done up as Galland's ride

1/32 Revell Spitfire MkI  (kit is circa 1969)

I used to build several at once, but i found i got nothing done and every time i went back to a kit parts had broken off. So now i am the same as  anthony2779, i stick to one at a time. As i build Dio's i can go between the model and the board it goes on. Althoughh because i over commited to GB's, i have several kits without Dio's, so i am building one kit while doing the Dio for another. But once i have caught up it will be back to one at a time.

Currently on bench Italeri 1/72 Ju 88 and Dio for Tamiya 1/35 Tiger I.

Need to have a couple in the works actively and a few on the side. I have a tendency to loose interest when working on only one. Need different types also as list below shows.

I have probably a dozen kits in various stages of completion currently "under construction". Plus other kits that have been shelved for various reasons that are incomplete and not currently being worked on the "inactive" list...

Some are very close to completion and others are barely started. On the "active list":

One at a time.

And that takes me forever.

Go figure

I gotta have multiple kits on the bench, because if I get bored or lazy with one kit I like to have the option of working on another kit and vice versa. So I currently have on the bench.........

1/32 scratch(yes, scratch) 1893 Horatio Phillips Steam-powered Multiplane

1/35 Zvezda M-3 Scout Car

Any more and my work bench would be too cluttered and I'd start to lose and misplace parts.

I have 3 kit on the workbench:

1) a whiff F-18 FSW, started about a month ago, is beeing painted.

2) a kitbash academy P-47 and mpm XP-47H into a XP-47H, also started about month ago, parts are cut, and I am sanding it all to fit (and to measure up to the scale plans)

3) a MiG-3, vacform by Hit kit, on the bench for about 4 years, though project, a kit that fights back... but it is still on the work bench...

I also have 3 kits that are on the "shelf of doom". I started them years ago but their build standard is sub par... I do not know if I am ever going to finsh them.

not sure anymore...5-6 something like that!

For me it's a hobby,not a production line where I have to churn out pieces under pressure.I work on just one at a time.Other people approach it diffrently,but I see no reason for myself to work on more then one at a time.

Right now I just start the DML Tiger I w/zimm

Right now I have 3 going

Dragon 1/35th. PzkfwIII ausf H TauchPanzer. Just needs flatcoat and some final weathering.

Eduard 1/48 Me-110 C. Painting now.

Alan 1/35 Pzkfw II ausf D FlammPanzer.  Assembled, now starting on link to lind track, all unpainted.

All are OOB.  Tired of extra detailing, although the Me-110 is plenty detailed, just rather get 'em done than bother with all that other foo-foo stuff.  Been there, done that. Now the hard part is deciding the next project.  I try to limit ongoing projects to 2-4.
