I guess I've proved the old saying is true - As you get older the second thing to go is your memory and I can't remember what the first one is.

10 or 15 years ago, I believe, FSM had an article on scratchbuilding a naval 40 mm Bofors (I think it was a quad mount in 1/35 scale). There was a good set of drawings, pictures of the model under construction and several pictures of the real thing.
No guarantee, but will dig through my reference material and see what I can find

hmm i think the local veteran's assoc. has soming like that on their lawn. Haven't been past there in a while can't remember exactly will have to look again and take camera.
