I built a kit in under 24 hours... (sort of)
Last night, after much time loking at the kit in its box over the past several months, I sat down at my work bence and commenced to building the Dragon 1/35 Light SEAL Support Craft. A short while ago, I completed all construction. With the exception of the crew figures. I left the weapons off for painting, but overall the boat is done. It is a simple and nicely detailed kit, and it just feels really great to actually finish a build in a single day (roughly).
I wanted a single project that would not be taking a week or a month to finish, and I did it. And it feels really good. Now once this heat goes away I can get in my garage and paint it (nice single green monotone sceme)...
Has anybody else here done anything of this sort lately?
