I also don't understand it, I have also sold and bought quiet a bit on E-Bay.

Naturally 98% of the deals were international, never had a problem Payoal made things eaasier and if I dealt with IMO's I shipped the kit as soon as I received the IMO in the mail.

A few guys refused to sell me the kit even after the auction ended without it being sold. Sad [:(]

I don't understand why sellers wouldn't open their auctions to bidders all over the world. I have personally sold over 200 model kits on ebay and I allowed international bidding on every one. In fact, many of the kits sold for a great deal more money BECAUSE of the international bidders!

Maybe some sellers don't want to deal with the occasional language barrier or the extra time to collect payment.

Problem is many US Sellers refuse to deal with people outside the USA.

Really pisses me off, when I see an Item that I like and it is listed as selling to US people ONLY.

The link I just posted is for here in the U.S., but I have seen listings from sellers in other countries.

under "toys, hobbies/ models, kits" there are currently 35,718 listings. do you go to ebay.com or one of the other ones such as ebay.ca or ebay.co.uk?

Try doing a search by scale only like 1/72 or 1/48. Also search by specific kit like he-111 or sikorsky or by manufacture like MPM.

Models on EBAY?

I keep hearing people talk (well seeing not hear:)) about find kits on Ebay but every time I go to EBAY they only have a couple of kits here and there. I usually look under the toy/plastic models titles. Is there another area or different search pattern I should be trying?
