One by AAA, and one by a SAM! If you ever read Crusade, by Rick Atkinson, portions of that book covers the second one's loss and experiences as a POW.

According to this article 3 have been lost.

http://www.fighter-planes.com/info/f15.htm

Three F-15E's have been lost in combat over Iraq (2 in Desert Storm and 1 in Iraqi Freedom).

My mistake Carlos I meant to say none have ever been lost in combat with an enemy aircraft.

No M1s lost as destroyed in tank to tank combat. Some have been damaged/knocked out, but recovered and repaired. Several have been lost in combat. Most to "friendly fire".Disapprove [V]

Our stuff has come along way since WWII in survivability. We now have casualty levels in wars that we used to have in battles.

Yeah, but no M1 Tanks have ever been lost in combat!!!

Well, define "combat". Yeah, I can't either, really. I saw, you saw, this happened, that. Well. Glad our losses aren't more.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] What he said! The C-130 I was supposed to have my Cherry Blast from had an engine fire when they started the engines. Try evcuating while rigged for a full combat gear jump. As if I wasnt nervous enough already....

What I meant was weather not nice enough to go out in the garden and pick my peppers. Laugh [(-D]

Northern California has weather somewhat like yours with lots of snow and freezes up around Lake Tahoe and such. We are in between that weather and Southern, CA so it is moderate here.

I don't envy the weather you have in Michigan. My mom is from Wisconsin and I have heard about the snow all the time growing up. We complain when it hits 40 degrees here. Big Smile [:D]

Yes, it is you. and him. And him. And him... and me!Laugh [(-D]

I think that is one reason I have so many kits going at the same time. I get bored with what I am working on and start up another. The constant stream of Group Builds her eI want to participate in does not help either...Black Eye [B)] And then once the kit is built painting is a whole seperate issue.

Come join the "No More Excuses" Group build. That one is helping me knuckle down and get stuff completed.

We all do Bud. I haven't completed a kit in over a year. I do notice though that when the weather changes and it starts getting colder like now that the drive comes back.

I haven't completed a model all year. I've started a couple. One is actually in the decal stage. But for the past month I just can't get motivated. I'm glad it's a hobby and not a job or I'd be in real trouble!

Yep, I think it's all of us. I'm in the same boat right now. Usually, I just force myself, and Within 5/10 mins. I'm into it and there's no stopping me. If I don't get into it(rarely happens) I just try again later.

It comes back........it always comes back

Bud

I feel that way all the time, I guess it all depends if I'm in the modeling mood or not. Lately, I haven't been in the modeling mood since I don't have any free-time. A few hours on the weekend if I'm lucky, but it's not enough time to get any real work done.

It happens to us all, Bud. I have looked at completed builds lately, but can't get motivated to start a new one or even work on one I have already started. Hmmmmm..

 Don't feel bad, old friend!
