Yup, I'm sure! 16,000 yen=$145 US bucks.
That's why I put it right back on the shelf!
When I first saw it, I thought it was 1,600 yen (a very reasonable $14.50 USD), so I was all set to nab it...then I noticed the extra zero!
Aaaiiiiieeeee!

BAM!
Right back on the shelf!

Howdy, Sensei!
I believe I answered your other post elsewhere, and I'm sure it wasn't the answer you wanted to hear: AMT Hindenburg, 16,000 yen ($145 USD) at a local hobby shop that specializes in old kits. Guess everything is more expense here!

Finding Airships?
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, December 21, 2003 6:47 PM
This is also posted in the aircraft forum. I am in search of an AMT/ERTL 1/520 scale Hindenburg airship kit. I have found several on E-Bay but have been outbid each time. I refuse to pay more than what the Kit collectors list say it is worth $25-$35. Each auction has ended with the highest bid way over that amount.
I would prefer an un molested kit but would settle for partial or completely built kits. Anyone having one of these I would be willing to purchase outright or trade in exchange. ( I have in excess of 1500 plus kits of all types. Cars, Ships, Sci-Fi, Aircraft, Armor, etc. most are rare out of production kits)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
