In my old days of scale modeling, I dealt a lot with this company (Phoenix Model) for mail order items (this was before internet access for me) and it was my favorite dealer at the time with great selections, good prices, with prompt and reliable shipping. Now that I have become a 'born again' modeler, I tried to look up my trusted supplier and all I can find now is a few web pages that have broken links that lead to error messages. The bottom of the page has a copyright of 2002 listed. Is any one familiar with them? I assume they folded and if so, it saddens me a bit.
I also dealt with a company called "Blue Yonder" back then after I got on the net. I know they went out of business shortly after I ordered a pair of Hasagawa F-16C's that I had to have for a Colorado ANG plane I wanted to build. Their web site came back at me with expired certificate warnings but took a chance. The web site disappeared a short time after I received (luckily) my kits.
Just wondered if anybody has any prior experience with either one.....
