You never mentioned the scale of the molels but I think the PBY would be intresting at almost any scale.

I've built both the 1/48 Monogram PBY-5 and 5A. I really enjoyed them both.

What do you normally model? What would be a break from the usual, Armor, aircraft, ships? Do you already have these kits, or do you buy the one with the most votes? Inquiring minds want to know.

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

While I'm a die-hard aircraft fan I've always wanted to see that Tiger with interior done. The Tiger 1 is one of my favorite tanks and I have done it before in 1/48 with the interior. 1/35 should offer much better opportunity for superdetailing.

To Swanny it is a fantastic kit that I will be looking forward to bluild soon. This kit comes with every thing ;engine ,tranmission, and forward drive gear trans. Also trosion bars and
individual track links.Makers of this kit is Academy.

M1, we could start a group build of our own, and 21% right now can't be wrong.

Sigh [sigh] why does this not surprise me? Wink [;)]

I'm almost done with a 1/72 PBY-5, and i'm a bit frustrated at the lack of detail (the cockpit is basically 2 seats and an instrument panel...), so i'd really like to see it in 1/48! You can put those realistic 50 cals on her too! I liked building it because it doesn't really seem like a combat aircraft to me... more of a life saver. I bet a lot of people are around today because of the PBY series. but that's just me. Smile [:)]
