I have Victory at Sea and possibly World at War as well.  I always have to fight to find time to set through them.  I've been expanding my WWI section lately.  I picked up an atlas that drove me crazy.  It used neither compass roses nor north pointing arrows. The top wasn't north either. One map had the area canted at about 30 degrees to reality.  I know. I've been there.

I've seen them at my local Fred Meyer's. I know nothing about the quality. A few that I highly recommend:

Victory at Sea

World at War

WW I: narrated by Robert Ryan

Wednesday is frequently my sister's shopping day when she runs errands after work so I expect her home a little later than usual.  Well today when she came in carting groceries, she dropped off a sack for me containing DVDs.  Not just any DVDs.  Documentary box sets of...

Military Might of the 21st Century: Strike Force- Sea (Madacy Home Videos)

Sky Wars- Ultimate Top Guns (Madacy Home Videos)

Trenches: Battleground WWI (Madacy Home Videos)

World War Two- Crusade in the Pacific (Diamond Entertainment)

Generals and Commanders of WWII (Madacy Home Videos)

Big Battles of World War II(Diamond Entertainment)

All together about 56 hrs of military documentries.  I think I'll hold back next time I want to lob something at her head.  Anybody got any of these? I'm trying to decide when to start.  I'm thinking of just starting with the shortest (Strike Force) and working my way through.
