image, scale, enlarging how?

1/72 will require a setting of 200% enlargement over 1/144.

1/32 will require your copier to make a 226% enlargement over 1/72.

Enlarging an image is much more dicey than reducing one. You stand a very good chance of getting a lot of blurry edges which would need to be cleaned up. Then there's the ethical issue of copying someone else's work without permission.

The scanner will scan the images, rescaling them is something done in either a  photo editing or drawing software.  Some scanner software does have the provisions to enlarge or reduce as well. The formulas are posted here on the forum...you'll have to search for them.
