Corked wine bottles are sealed with a thick foil material that has been recommended for these applications.

Just thought those of you who don't drink wine might like an alternate source this material.

Huh? Huh?

I have a small suggestion for those of you looking for material to make seat belts and rifle slings. Go to your local motorcycle shop and ask the parts guy to save this little item for you.

This is the sealing strip on a "Yuasa" brand "YTX" series maintenance free battery. Since this series of battery has become a standard across a vast series of motorcycles and ATV's, in about a weeks time he will probably accumulate a several years supply for you.

Just thought those of you who don't drink wine might like an alternate source this material.

Regards, PWB.
