Bgrigg

 DO order in stock only.

I know you figured it out already, but that is the key.  I've got a couple items lingering in the 'available' bin from my last order.  Fortunately, I am in no rush so I can let them sit there and see what happens in a few months...

I buy from Luckymodel.com on occasion. Good prices, pretty fast for shipping. DO order in stock only. Best thing about them for me is I get hit with customs duty on purchases from the US, but not from Hong Kong. Makes me wonder if Canada customs have an anti-US agenda!

So long folks!

Thanks for the info Phil. A few minutes of thought figured out the In stock/Availible difference. Looks like I'll be ordering the eduard PE kit for yamato tomorrow. I really like their price I can go express international deleivery for the same price or less as normal shipping on ebay, which helps as the missus who told me to by the PE said its on the condition the ship is put in the local hobby expo in mid march.

Hi Andrew,

I order from them quite frequently and rarely have any issues.

There's really only one "gotcha". This is, only order items which have the green "In Stock" status. Anything with the blue "Available" status means they don't have it in stock, but it may be available from their supplier. There are a lot of long OOP items listed as "Available" so beware.

If ordering multiple items, un-tick the option (I can't recall the exact wording) to ship all items together. This will make sure they ship what they can, rather than wait for an item which might go out of stock between the time you place your order and the time when they pack the order.

Another possible issue is that they charge you up front when you place the order, not when they ship it,. This hasn't been a problem for me so far.
