Glad it's being so well received. No problem downsizing it for anyone who wants to use it in a signature... I just can't resist!

OK, here it is - the long-awaited (for Manny anyway!) "Project 229 group badge"

On a side note, I just ran through the entire thread & noticed that someone edited their own comments to read "spam" thousands of times.... how annoying!!

http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/af250/VanceCrozier/GroupBuildBadges/pROJECT229_BADGE.jpg

If anyone sees that an item near & dear has been left off, let me know & I'll try to add it too. The names of the main offenders, uhh, contributers have been snuck in where possible - again, if I've missed you I can add you!

Now, someone pass me some otter snouts...

MEOW!!!

And I've got a monster file for the original, y'know, if anyone requires posters for their workbench area....

I dont realy know if cats (the feline ones) have ever made a noise like meow? I think they have been confused with the noise that come from said elastic powered stone throwing cat, which of course emits the

MEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeee

sound as the projectile shoots of into the distance, rapidly followed by the

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWW

sound as said projectile hits it taget. Needless to say if said target was a cat, you would get a double whammy.

This subject is covered (confusingly) in "Of Mice & Men", where Big Lennie Small gets the cat on the mouse- Lennie did of course go on to become a gangster & then the Notorious rapper "Biggie Smalls".

I could multi-task, I have a great attention span - I could say a bit, play some tunes, log in to the forums. They had lions in the forum right? Those crazy Romans and their galleons. Gallons and gallons of galleons. Why are there metric and imperial gallons? I built an Imperial scout walker once... uhh, where was I going with that? Stick out tongue

Yeah, a quick peek in the "model making" page shows quite the selection. And I suppose they'd be used to dealing with people looking for large volumes of the stuff, rather than "hobby sizes" which may save you a few bucks in the long run. And if you manage to save $229...

Do I even want to know how you came across this?!

Wonder if they can do hamsters...

Nooooo..........they supply the stuff so YOU can do it yourself.

Actually, I've been looking for another supplier of rubber compound for resin casting other than Alumilite.

The website also shows supplies for a variety of tasks.....this link is just for the cat ( and hamster ) fans.

Or "The Red Green Show."

...if the ladies don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy...

Did you ever see the episode where "Old man Sedgewick has a badger down his pants"? I thought I was going to die laughing.

As long as we're discussing spam , cats and hamsters in one gulp- I'd like to include the definition of "Meat" as defined in the movie "Battle Beyond the Stars:

Nestor 1: [eating a hot dog for the first time] There's no dog in this.

Cowboy:: Uh-uh.
Nestor 1: Hydrolyzed vegetable protein, soybean meal, niacin, dextrose, and sodium nitrate flavoring.

Cowboy:: Yup, that's what we call "meat" back home/
