Baghdad Model Club?

I doubt it. Things are changing everyday there and more emphasis is Finally on Afghanistan. But then again nothing that I know of has been going on here either. The wonderful people of IPMS needs to update how to ship stuff over if they can or just remove it till they get updated info. Last year I tried to send contact info for the FOB I was at but never got a response from them. Now I'm at a different one and probably won't bother this time.

I'm just getting back to this after a while of not being able to sign in to the forums.

If anyone does have any update info or if you are fortunate enough to be in a position to start something at your FOB, please drop me a PM and I will forward your info to the new IPMS prez. I commo with him periodically on a personal basis and I'm sure he would be happy to get the site updated for this effort.

It seems that IPMS is really dependent upon the POC's for the various model clubs to get their new contact info back to the organization. Troops rotate frequently, and when they get short, probably one of th last things on their minds is making sure that IPMS gets updated. It may be a better option to use the civilian MWR contacts as the go-to personnel. When I get there, I may develop a better understanding of the current state of the different clubs, though.

Baghdad modeling club....can't help you there. I do however have contact info for the Joint Base Balad Plastic Model Club. One of the soliders that runs it is Maj.
