Huh? I have a red car, what size underwear should I buy? I have pets, what time is it in Hong Kong?

I guess the answer is one of these:

a. The scale in which the ships you're interested are offered .

b. The scale that most fits your budget.

c. The scale that most fits your display area.

d. The scale that has the most bang for the buck

e. The scale that has the largest selection of ships.

f. The scale that has the largest selection of aftermarket product.

I'm speculating that he wants a suggestion of a good scale to use that would approximately match the 1/144 aircraft and vehicles he has.

I don't do ships, but I do see in a Squadron flyer that there are 1/144 ship models out there.  Not many, as that strikes me as a honking big scale for most modern ships.

Welcome to the Forums Lance Welcome Sign.  While 1/144 makes for very small aircraft & armor models, that's not the case for ships.  There is a very limited number of 1/144 ship kits available, mostly subs.  If you enjoy small scale, I'd suggest the very popular 1/700 scale.  Huge selection of topics & reasonably priced.
