I don't know if this will help, but I found the 1:72 instructions.

I built on of those some months ago.. I'll have to dig deep, but I might have a set for ya...

I can scan the instruction sheet for you as well.  Off to work now, but can do it on Friday if thats OK>

Here you go............now, promise to do it in RAAF markings !!

Hmm, interesting...

Looks like a few errors in those instructions, like olive drab for the interior. This should be RAF interior green which is nowhere near Olive Drab.

Also, if building a Coastal Command bird (Mk.1C), it would probably be wise to omit the AI radar aerials.

Those instructions were printed decades before anyone cared about that kind of stuff, Phil...

Yep, the kit dates back to at least the early 70's if not earlier. They probably offered a night fighter option originally, hence the radar aerials, but didn't provide any suitable markings for it in this release.

1974.

Between 2000-2007, I had a nice little sideline on e-bay, buying these big twins in the US, and re-selling in Australia, where they were as scarce as rocking horse poop.  Probably bought and sold about a dozen of these Big Beaufighters, including the old 1974 nightfighter version, which was molded in black plastic.  I kept one for myself.  Of course Revell put an end to that, re-releasing the Bf110, and Beaufighter.  The end of Sea Mail meant dwindling profits too.   And the Airfix 1/24 Mosquito has knocked the shine off the Old  Revell 1/32 Mossie as well .........
