Hobby Lobby clearance
Posted by kustommodeler1 on Thursday, June 17, 2010 8:43 PM

I was at our nearest Hobby Lobby today and found several kits on the clearance island including Trumpeter's CV-2 Lex and BB-55 N.C. in 1/350 scale.

Quite the cut in price on the Lexington too, was originally  $159.95 now  Just $57.00!! The North Carolina was 52.00.

Also, was Accurate Miniature's 1/48 Avenger for $24, and some Tamiya armor for about 70% off. All the kits were 30% off.

And here's the REAL kicker.......... I cant buy right now, knee surgery taking up all money.Crying

OH well, hope y'all get to get in on some of the deals!!Yes

Same is happening here at my Hobby Lobby... bought two great kits last week at dirty cheap prices!  Tamiya British Challenger (Gulf War) for only $22 and Tamiya latest Sd.kfz 222 for $25.  Unfortunately the main reason they are selling off model kits is that they are downsizing the size from two to just one aisle. Sad  Our hobby may be a dying art after all.  The train selection is being slashed too that I bought many diomara stuff at 75% off.

Hey deafpanzer could it be they can't compete with the on line dealers since I got my computer I haven't bought anything at my local hobby shop for a year prices are cheaper on line.  ACESES5Welcome Sign

I kind of wish I had one, but it's probably better that I don't. I get too impulsive and end up buying subjects that I no longer am interested in, because it was a good deal or I got caught up in the excitement of ebay.

Almost every week they have the 40% off coupon, but when you can get the clearance prices they are usually pretty good. I picked up several 1/144 Military & civilian kits , I don't usually build that scale but for the price, too good a deal to pass up.
