Hey Everyone!
It's been a long, long while since I last posted to the Forum here, and I apologize for taking a back seat on participating. I have been busy building though. And what I wanted to share with all of you is this...mostly all of what I read here and in the hard copy magazine is great stuff that really works when applied at the workbench.
For instance, using an adhesive lint roller to hold small objects for painting, EXCELLENT idea. I just tried it today and it works Grrrrreat! Also, using suggestions from other builders here, I used oil paint and pastel dust to make a textured mixture to paint some engine exhaust manifolds to look all old and completely rusted so that I can use them as disgarded parts in a large diorama I'm working on.
Well, just wanted to give a little feedback on all those wonderful suggestions and ideas that come and go around here. Almost all are certainly worth trying. It's easy, it's fun and the more techniques you have in your arsenal, the more fun it makes building.
So, Keep Building and Have Fun doing it!
