Looking for some original issue dates for Japanese kits
NorEastCon is going to have a special catagory next year honoring the contest's 40th anniversary. It is for entries built from kits first manufactured inor before 1972. If you're dealing with Airfix, Revell, Frog or Lindberg it's pretty easy to find these dates because of the rabid fan base those brands have.
Japanese kits are harder. I've been trying to see if some old Japanese kits are eligible and have had no luck with google. Can anyone here confirm if any of these kits qualify?
Hasegawa 1/32 F-104 - kit number S-1
Tamiya 1/48 A6M5c - kit number 6427
Otaki 1/48 J2M3 - kit number OT 2-9
