Swanny's Models Blacked Out
Posted by Swanny on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 1:54 PM

Just so those who frequent my site don't get too worried my servers are in Quebec and the city has been having some serious power supply problems this summer experiencing rolling black-outs. From what I can tell it seems to have stopped rolling and is now sitting on top of my server company. All sites hosted by these guys have been down all afternoon and the tech people are unreachable at the moment. I'll bet they are having a grand old time right now. Anyway, with luck they will have power back soon and the site and forum will be back up and running. Nothing I can do from here in Ohio other than pop a cold one and wait. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The squirrels in the power plant must be getting tired.

Are more blackouts occurring this year vs. last year?

What do you expect from a third-world country?

And we are down again this afternoon for total power outage. I'm thinking the hosting company needs a few rental squirrels to keep the wheel spinning.

Matt? Do you happen to know, off the top of your head, if the scale firebomber site and Lone Star Models are on the same server?

I recall that we had this problem once before and that we were on the same server.

Thanks for any help,

Randie

Yes, we are on the same server company, our mutual friend turned me on to them some time ago.

You have no clue. I've never been to the website before, but now I'm diying to see what's on it, and I can barely stand it.

Yes, the site is back up, let's hope that they don't turn on the A/C and the toaster at the same time again.
