If you are referring to kit #6379 US Marines Guadalcanal 1942 the figure 2nd from the left is carrying a Reising M50 sub-machine gun.

I just finished building those figgies. At a glance I thought it was an M1 Carbine. I looked again and it wasn't so I left it out of my build.
I think it is a carbine of some sort though.
Taking reference from dragons 1/35 marines guadacanal, what is the second figgie to the left holding?
