Hasegawa B-24J ball turret

Purchased a 1/72 Hasegawa B-24J and the instructions show a blanking plate for the ball turret yet the clear parts appear to include 3 pieces for the sperry belly turret. and some other unused parts on the solid sprues. Is it possible to install the bely turret and if so how?
