                        I drove past Big Bear Hobby shop and saw that Bob's closed business! When did this happen? Did he retire? What's the story?

                        Stanton Hobby in Chicago did the same thing ten years ago.

                        Owner retired.

                        Earlier this year. He had health issues and he and his wife were at retirement age, so they did. It will be missed. Even the few times I was there I enjoyed the time spent in such a great store run by fantastic people.
