I tried to get the Figure GB badge in my signature but when I saved it, it said I had more than the allowed 512 characters in my signature. So I erased what I had on my workbench and then it was down to my B-17 GB badge and the Figure GB badge but still said I had more than 512 characters, yet I see other people with the same Figure badge and they have multiple badges......whats going on?

I have the same problem,on the old forum it didn't seem to matter, but now I could only fit four badges, yet other folks seem to have many more ??
Hmm, that's interesting. I don't have any photo badges at this time, but I'm going to work on some (I got at least 2 I know definately)
Also, how do you get those badges that scroll through all badges?

I am pretty sure that those scrolling/changing signature badges are animated Gif's (.like the one in your sig).
You will have to custom-make yours using a graphics program.

Thanks for telling me about it. I have no clue when it comes to stuff like this.
[Darn, the one thing I don't have: a graphics program to make custom animations!]

Also, you can try to put your badges on one jpeg and then upload that to your photo-host..
Another thing... Use Image Shack instead of Photobucket for your badges... The URLs are MUCH shorter on Image Shack, which is why you run outta room so fast using Photobucket..
when you save the picture, rename it with a short name such as "1" that way when you paste the url tags in your signature it doesn't use up your character limits with a long name.
Thanks guys.....I think I got it figured out now

Thanks, Hans. I'll save the link, and I'll use it when I get enough badges.
