Granson & oldest granddaughter did a couple, but only Jake has shown any interest in building any more.... GD just did it because her brother was building it with me and got to be in the War Room and didn't wanna be left out, lol...

First model I ever built at age 7 was a Spitfire (a HAWK 1/72 kit) so 8-year old Jake's first one was also a Spitfire, one of the 1/72 pre-finished snappers... I THINK they're from Testor's

And his P-51.

Here's the "Young Eagle" with his own War Room bench and his first two builds.

Hey Gys and Gals.

Was thinking many of us here most likley got some kids and other family members that dabble in models and lets share pics of their builds.

My son(10 now) started a few yrs ago to model and worked up from SD Gundams to Scale models now, he is only starting to paint now  but been doing panel-lining, etc for some time.

He still asks for help on some of the tougher/trickier points.

He likes to build models and always has a few projects going but most of the time the NDS, etc wins out over time at the bench. His recent build was a Tamiya 1/12 Honda CX500 Turbo(non-painted).

At the moment he also has a RG Gundam, Tamiya M113 APAC going. And asked for a few extra kits like a RG Zaku II, Honda 1/12 CBX1100RR.

Will take pics of his stuff in a  bit and post.
