Forgot 2 Glues.

1.) Gaianotes Limo-chan, also lemon scented but worked well, no longer commonly available, IIRC.

2.) Orange Plastic Glue don't recall manufacturer, nice but horrible strong orange peel smell.

Ditto on the Testor's Blue Tube Non-tox.. Makes your model smell like a fruit-salad and it doesn't set very fast ,though it will weld the styrene together like the regular stuff...  Actually, I like the smell of chemicals like MEK and other cements, can't stand the fruity-smell of non-tox, lol...

Double-ditto. I absolutely hate the smell, but it works. But it IS tube glue, it requires some finesse in application. good luck! Yes

I have switched over to the Tamiya Limonene as my son also models.

Works just as well as their standard glue but don't smell like "Doom in a Bottle" when you use it.

Can't say if it is less toxic though most likely just a few ingredietns changed and scented.

Elmer's or any other white glue is useless for gluing styrene... It's made for pourous materials like paper, cloth, ceramics, and wood...  It'll stick parts together for a while, but one good bump and it'll fail...

I don't know too much, but Testors makes a Non-Toxic liquid cement. It has a light blue label and is citrus scented. Ive been using that, and it is much better on the nose than regular Testors glue!

Any "Harmless" adhesive advice?

Does anyone know of any adhesives which are a little less harmfull than the usuall suspects? I would like to stay away from Methylene Chloride, Methyl Ethyl Ketone or CA of any sort.

I have considered Tamiya Limonene Cement & regular PVA (Elmer White) - are either any use for regular styrene models?

Thanks
