Instructions
Posted by Sparrowhyperion on Friday, October 15, 2010 1:12 PM

Hi folks.  I hope you are all having a nice Friday.  I just got an ancient Hasegawa/Minicraft 1/32 scale P-51D Mustang kit and it has one problem.  Most of the instructions are missing.  I was wondering if anyone knows anywhere on the web that might have instructions for this kit.  The Hasegawa site is pretty useless, and the Minicraft site isn't much better.  I am really wanting to get this one started since the P-51 is my favorite aircraft.  Any help is appreciated.

Well, after lots of looking, I can't find anywhere to get the instructions.  I don't suppose someone on the Forums has that kit (1086 Hasegawa/Minicraft P-51D 1/32 Scale)?  If someone has that kit, could they maybe scan in their instruction sheet so they could email it to me.  I would really appreciate it.  This is the last time I believe someone when they say the instructions are complete on eBay. LOL

Hey Rich, I'm no help for the instructions, but I've got two suggestions anyway! I'd post this question in the aircraft thread, and the title should be a little more specific. (? maybe "Need instructions: Hasegawa/Minicraft 1/32 scale P-51D") Sorry I can't help more than that, good luck,

Vance

Hey Rich!

I think I have that kit in the stash. Can ya wait until Monday? I'll scan them and either email them or print them and snail mail, whichever works for you.

This may help with the assembly, but the markings will be different. I believe the plastic is the same.

I'll bet you could just punt and build it without instructions.  That's a pretty basic airplane and it should be obvious how it goes together after you study the parts.  "Trust the Force, Luke..."

Normally yes.  But I am teaching my Daughter, and I want her to learn how to read, understand and follow the instructions.  She has only done 3 kits so far and this is the most complex one yet.
