Omaha, Nebraska...any good hobby shops there?
Posted by jhawk on Thursday, October 21, 2010 1:23 PM

Hello:  I've been to Omaha in the past and found a great hobby shop but can't remember it's name.  It was out in the boonies a bit, was in a large one story building (I think it was white) in a new development, and had a lot of plastic models.  It also had a large selection of RC parts and a large indoor RC car track.  The area around the shop was a bit hilly with new home and strip mall development all around it.  If I remember correctly, it was very close to the interstate that went by it.  Anyone know of the hobby shop I'm describing?

I'll be back in Omaha soon and would like to revisit the place.  And, are there any other good hobby shops in Omaha?  Thanks.

I don't know about Omaha proper, but there are Hobby Lobby's and Micheal's scattered throughout the area and a HobbyTownUSA in Papillion/LaVista and another in Lincoln. A quick MapQuest search should help you out a bit!  HTH.
