So I'm up to my eyeballs in group builds at the moment, and they're all great, but it seems that the most consistently vibrant and informative would have to be the Natural Metal Finish II GB. Not to diminish the others in any way, but I think there's something to the idea of a technique-based GB. It encourages a ton of crosstalk that everyone can take and apply to their own builds.
Riffing off that, I was thinking it might be fun to start up another technique-based GB.
So...anybody interested in a "Rode Hard and Put Up Wet" group focused on weathering, damage and disrepair?
It'd be open to all genres. Aircraft, armor, ships, cars, sci-fi, fantasy, figures, you name it. Crossovers totally welcome. The only qualification would be that whatever you build, you beat the stuffing out of it and detail your approach to the weathering.
If there's enough interest, I'm thinking I'll fire it up in February (after everyone's ditched their New Year's resolutions!) and run it for a year, but I'm totally flexible on shifting the start date.
So who's up for it?
