I would be interested in seeing any star ship.   right now i have 6 in final stages,  and i just thought up at lease 2   i just suggested a dreadnaught version of the Decater class cruiser to federation models more.  they thought i was insane.   guess ill have to build it to prove them wrong

Im doing some new renders but I can't figure out how to attach them to a post so I think I will just put them up in my online gallery and give you the link to it.  Then you can just look at it in the gallery .  Here's the gallery URL.

I was also thinking of my Kestrel and Raptor (no not the BG one :) fighters.  Take a look.

As for scale..  No idea yet.  The actual ship would be about 3.5 miles long, so it's going to probably be something insane like 1/20000 or something.  I'll have to calculate it at some point.  I'll post the other render wen it's finished.  If I decided to do one of my fighters first instead, I would guess around 1/32.

Hi.

I am thinking of starting a long term major project and I wanted to get some feedback before I decided whether or not to try it.

If you take a look at my avatar image, you will note a not recognizable starship in flight.  Over the last 15 years, I have been self teaching myself 3D computer modeling.  The image you see is one of my designs.  It is a 3.5 mile long warship from a book idea I have been toying with.

I though it might be fun to try and actually model it in the real world.  I am thinking of a combination of styrene and resin mostly.  I'll attach another closer image of it so you can see it in more detail tomorrow after I have a chance to re-render it in larger scale.  Let me know what you think.
