As far as modern, what era are you doing?? This is the key. If you are doing ,say the MIDDLE EASTsince the GULF WAR you are in a fix .I would consider looking at the train dept.at the LHS if you have one. The truth is there isn,t much out there. I have always decided that ,s one reason I don,t do anything that is land based. To be successfulI,ve  I,ve had to build stuff like that in 1/87 ,or 1/48 (railroad scales) and then there isn,t much ARMOR stuff in those scales around here(TEXAS) .I wish you luck though. You may find something close and have to modify it. Wish I couldve been more help.     tankerbuilder

There have been some cars done in 1/32, but "modern" depends on what you consider modern, the most recent I know of are from the Monogram kits from the 1980s. 1/32-1/34 is a common diecast scale though if that would work.
