Hi , harshman: Well the total count for 2010 was finished - five cars,  four ships and an incomplete oceanographic research vessel  (conversion from LINDBERG,S minesweeper) and a cutaway LINDBERG (CAPE class COAST GUARD CUTTER) No planes so far .Now this year I hope to do at least  6 cars , 8 ships and at least three planes. I only round filed two glue bombs. I took off parts I could salvage and filed the rest. that,s it for 2010 now lets see what 2011 brings.   tankerbuilder.

Seven through September, then a 1:1 vintage motorcycle restoration consumed me for the rest of the year leaving a half-trak less than half built.

Definitely 9, possibly 13 - my years are starting to blend together, so I'm having trouble remembering when I built particular models.

I definitely built 7 of the Blue Angels (1/72), HellCat through the Phantom.  I also built an EA-6E Intruder (1/48) and an SA-6 mobile SAM launcher (1/35)

I'm pretty sure 2010 is when I built the X-15A-2 (1/32), X-1 (1/32) and space shuttle STACK (1/144).  I think I also built  a Gephard AA AFV (1/35).

I also started a Shilka, but the individual track links are what's holding me back from finishing it.  At this rate, it may not make 2011, either, LOL.

Have 5 more near completion for this year though..

This year bodes better for me. I have over 25 kits in various stages of build from just started to nearly completed...Embarrassed and I want to say that at least 10 of those are near completion...Black Eye So no more new starts this year until I have made a good dent in that. As long as I don't get in the model building  doldrums again this year like last year I should be good...Whistling

Last year was looking pretty dismal for completed builds until an end of the year spurt allowed me to finish up several nearly complete builds. So I actually completed 10 in 2010. My goal for this year is at least one completed build per month, for a minimum total of 12. With all the partial builds I have going that are near completion, (painting and weathering is the big hold up) that is possible...Whistling

Hal, when you said "chunk out" I thought you meant "into the trash". LOL

And my answer was going to be zero. But I think I built nine last year.

I had thought the same thing. I've only ever pitched one (before completing). I actually burried it out in the yard, so as not to taint my trashcan with that POS!

I've never binned/trashed a model, it just goes back in the box untill i get more 'research' done, (oldest is 26-odd years in the box....Sad)

however, the closest I've come is the Fonderies Minatures 1/35th LCA.....  Super Angry

I've FINISHED 4 this year, which is a lot for me.... Surprise
