If your cat left the room under his own power you certainly didn't use enough duct tape.Hmm

I swear my cat can read.  He saw that message and stared at the computer, then hissed at it and left the room.....

the "winning" was a reference to Charlie Sheen and the "...yes..." was a reference to Manny's oh-so-very-helpful remarks

Don't really understand the last two comments but if anyone is interested ...

I have posted the photos of my second model - Concorde, in the Aircraft section.

I , too, miss the Aurora stands....... Crying

...........and the triangular shape made nice Sci-Fi parts, too ! Big Smile

BTW.......this may not be quite a " Martha Stewart " home decorating tip, but if the Revell Dumper Trailer project doesn't finish up quite right it may yet serve some usefulness as a kitsch

I used to love watching Benny Hill.  He was hilarrious.

I don't thing any company put out a more substantial and stable stand than the old Aurora kits.  That big tripod like design with the girder looking vertical.  Those things could handle a LOT of weight.

Happy to learn you are still able to build during a busy time.

Sorry to hear about the lack of a Concorde SST model stand.

Unfortunately, I have learned from past experience that manufacturer stands included with airplane models did not always provide a stable platform for the kits- especially if cats and dust wands exist in the same domicile. Crying

Hello guys

The connection between Zombies, Death, Ghosts and Benny Hill - they're all horrible.

Manstein's revenge - "She hasn't posted since Feb 1---way to go guys!"

Doesn't mean I don't drop by every once in a while to see how things are going. I have just been promoted at work and it has taken time to re-balance work and pleasure.

p38ji - "I bet she's busy building !!"

Spot on - I am (or was).

My plan was to build a Revell Dumper Trailer to go with the truck that I built but everyday life has a habit of getting in the way so I decided to go for an easier model and to get a touch more practice at the same time.

I got a model Concorde off ebay that looked quite easy, then my jaw hit the ground when I saw the transfer sheet but I really enjoyed building it. I couldn't believe it didn't come with a stand so I made one from an old 'helping hands' tool and an aerial off a CD player. I have already taken the pictures, I just need to upload them to Photobucket (I will try and do that later today) and will post them in the Aircraft section.

I knew you couldn't resist our irresistable charm and wit for too long...Angel
