Have you seen Great Scale Modeling yet?
Posted by BaBill212 on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 10:05 AM

The 2011 Great Scale Modeling issue came out this past week. As usual there are some good pics and always some excellent work.

One of the figures that stood out (to me anyway) was on page 26, lower left corner; 13th century, English knight....  outstanding!

I haven't gone through all the entire edition yet,,, but was wondering about your opinion(s).

Enjoy the ride!

I'm happy just seeing models featuring my products in it...especially when they make the COVER!!! Such as the P-80.

I had seen this figure and thought it was done very nice, so realistic, Very good job! But on a sad note in the IPMS Nats section, a dear friend of mine had shown one of his last models and did win an award with his C-130. Don Alberts of Rio Rancho, NM did pass away and would be sorely missed. I would like to say hats off to all who's models we get to see in this special edition.

This is sad news indeed. Don was a charming man and a talented builder. I'm glad Matthew Usher and I had a chance to meet him in Phoenix while shooting photos of his models. His family is in my thoughts.

Yes, I've received mine. I enjoyed it. I will get next years. (I know the third wasn't asked, I just threw it in there to score some points with the FSM crew for the next time I may step close to a line.)
