Doogs, I'm building a WnW SE.5a for Marc's WWI GB, and have big plans for that geared 200hp Hispano-Suiza / Wolseley engine! Yes

Sounds fun Doogs.  Surely I'll have a few little projects throughout the year to contribute.  Rick

How about..... the guided rockets slung under my Heinkel 177? I'm sure I can pop in with something here. Neat idea Doogs!

Awesome! If we get a few more (think it got bumped off the main page pretty fast last night) I'll get it rolling!

Got a Tasca M2 Browning that'd be perfect.

On the Bench: 1/32 Trumpeter P-47 | 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109G | 1/144 Eduard MiG-21MF x2

We've all read it in review after review. Some subassembly of a larger kit is described as "practically a kit in itself".

Well...I was thinking it might be fun to dedicate a sort of rolling group build to those kits in themselves. Engines. Suspension units. Breech assemblies. Machine guns. The aircraft on aircraft carriers. The vehicles that ship with some of Tamiya's aircraft, etc.

I figure it might be a fun break from those long, involved builds, and also provide something of a reference for all of us trying to get a better feel for X kit or X aftermarket set.

Start date will be March 1, 2011 (so nobody can start early, mwhahaha!), and it'd run through 12/31/11, with the possibility of rolling over come the new year.

So...takers? If so, I'll get it set up.
