Since Ive been going (over 10 years in a row now), Ive never seen it. I herd they had problems raising money for new engines so it was grounded for awhile.
I've seen FIFI twice at Oshkosh and she puts on a heck of a show. The low level pyrotechnic pass really gives a feeling of what low level fire bombing must have been like.

I had the opportunity to stand at the end of the Rockford, Il runway as a B-29 took off.
Well worth the drive to be there !
All I did was click directly on the photo and hit "copy" then went to the post window and hit "paste".

Post the photo to photo bucket (or some other sharing site) and use the film strip icon in the tool bar at the top of the post message window to link to the photo.

I just seen on the news that the B-29 "FiFi" will be at the EAA airshow in Oshkosh Wisconsin this year. It will fly during the airshow on friday. Incase some of you dont know, Fi Fi is the only air worthy B-29 in the world!
Good thing Im getting a new camera and have vacation for the last 3 days!
