I think in light of the reaction by forum users to part 1 of this saga ,a more correct way to solicit proposed work would be to research the work done on here , select a short list of candidates ,and approach them through the p.m. system. Fsm May 2002 has a complete roundup and description of the Space Station kits available .
I run my own business and quote custom work on a daily ,if not hourly basis, so I do feel qualified to comment here. The numbers proposed were not feasible, I also feel that shipping a very delicate model such as this would be disappointing for all concerned. I hope the model can be supplied and wish the best of luck in the project.
It is also my experience ,shipping neon signs , that 'FRAGILE' means-' throw as hard and as far as possible with the full intention to destroy'
